Identity and Access
How identity systems, access models, least privilege, and authentication shape the way organizations secure people, systems, and data.
Identity • Access • Security • AI
I’m Ben Bodemuller. I work in IT with a focus on identity, access, and security, and I’m especially interested in how those disciplines shape the future of AI.
AI is becoming part of how organizations make decisions, automate work, and interact with information. That creates real opportunity, but it also raises important questions: Who should have access? What data can systems use? How do we enforce least privilege? How do we keep humans accountable when automation is involved?
This site is where I explore the connection between identity, security, governance, and practical AI adoption.
My goal is to connect the dots between emerging technology and the security foundations required to use it responsibly. I write for people who are interested in AI, but who also care about access control, accountability, data protection, and the real-world complexity of deploying technology inside organizations.
I’m optimistic about what AI can make possible, but I believe that optimism needs to be grounded in good security practices, clear governance, and thoughtful implementation.

How organizations can think about accountability, authorization, data exposure, and responsible use as AI becomes part of everyday workflows.
Practical security concepts that support safe technology adoption, including privileged access, policy design, operational risk, and secure implementation.
Clear explanations, walkthroughs, and reflections on technology decisions without unnecessary hype or fear.
